| Hi,
What's the best an the easiest way to convert
a pcl file to postscript on linux?
I want to print a pcl file on a Xerox Postscript
ready printer. I want to create a filter for that,
on the entry for that printer in the /etc/printcap file.
Suggestion to do that?
Thank you very much for your help.
Daniel

You might want to have a look at GhostPCL
<http://www.artifex.com/downloads/>.

| What Xerox printer do you have? Most of them will print HP PCL as well as
Postscript.
You may need to send some kind of control string that tells the printer that
the data following is pcl, not postscript, but most modern ones can figure
that out by looking at the first line or two of data.
