Author Add a page to an EPS file or covert to PS

I have a PS-Adobe-2.0 EPSF-1.2 file that is an
intermediate file that gets populated by a perl
script and then converted to a pdf. The 1st page is
full and I would like to add a 2nd page. Do I have
to convert it to a postscript file before I can do
this? Reading the FAQ it said an EPS file is by
definition 1 page. If so, what would I use that
would not lose the fields I need to populate (they
are delimited by curly braces, i.e. {firstname})?
TIA
