Wow, a customer willing to pay for such a feature? Great. I'm curious,
which compiler vendors did you approach, and which ones were
interested? (I bet PathScale would be interested.)

Changing the standard to require this in every compiler won't help,
unless you think driving compiler vendors out of business is a good
thing.
