Power Term serveur...

| Hi everyone.
I have power term to program in Fortran 77, and I don't know where I
can find serveurs for power term. I know only one, and there are people
in there... and it's not always easy to connect.
Thanks for your help

I GUESS that you are looking for a Fortran 77 compiler to install on
your computer. You can download g95 and gfortran for free, and also
Silverfrost if you use Windows. They will compile Fortran 77 code.
There are links to Fortran compilers at
http://core-n02.dmoz.aol.com:30080/...tran/Compilers/
..
What is "power term"?

| Thanks, I'll try.
Power Term is an emulator. You can connect to a openvms host from
Windows XP, bu you need to have a good host!

It is probably a terminal emulator, and he is looking for shell access
on some host where he can use an f77 compiler. Better off installing his
own, as you say.

| Yes John Smith, it's a terminal emulator...and I have been looking for
differents hosts for few days, and it's not very easy to find.
But today I have tried to installed a f77 compiler, but I don't really
understand how it works. I think I'll continu to write my programs with
Notepad, and then to compile them with power term, or with Visual
Fortran.
Thanks for your help

Force208 is a free IDE of sorts that includes the g77 compiler, and
installs easily. No need to fuss with command line compile and link.

Perhaps better, there is the Open Watcom version of fortran, nicely
packaged
