Looking for a good C/C++/Fortran IDE for Linux

| Hello,
I am going over to linux and need a development environment that will
support gnu C, C++ and absoft fortran. MS Visual Source Safe support would
be fantastic.
Can someone please help me,
Thanks,
Nevin

IDE's do not "support" compilers - you can define your own customizations in
Emacs (an "OS" disguised as a word processor :) ).
I know that KDevelop has support for C and C++. I do not think it includes
Fortran support yet.

Hard to expect that on another OS, isn't it ? There might be an equivalent
feature though.

Not really. SourceSafe works OK.

There are options far better than VSS, but you can use it from
Linux, Solaris, etc. if you must.
