Author Function evaluation
Dieter Britz

For a part of a course on elementary num. comp. I am now
looking at function evaluation. The existing literature
on this seems to go back to Clenschaw (1954), Hastings (1955)
and Fike (1968). All fine pieces of work. But are the methods
described there in fact used by today's Fortran systems,
or are there newer methods used?
