Alain Frisch just announced dynamic linking of native-code to OCaml programs
and, in particular, a new OCaml top-level that dynamically links native
code into itself to provide native-code performance from an interactive
top-level.

As SML/NJ and F# have already shown, this functionality is very useful and
will be a welcome addition to OCaml, particularly for technical users
wanting both OCaml's superb performance and its interactivity.
