First I have heard too. I'd like more information (for academic

Global warming will probably ultimately kill off most life unless we
seriously attempt to reduce the human contribution. After that Ice
Ages will come back. I can conceive that we could produce enough CO2
to keep the world permanently ice free (and in a large part
desertified). I wonder why they think that continental drift will stop
and I also wonder what caused it to start in the first place.
