No sensibilities are involved. The literal meaning of Jesus' words
"Do not call anyone on earth your father" is clear to a child. I
simply asked how Roman Catholics view such things, when their
clear doctrine conflicts with the Bible's clear words. I made no
comment about whether they are justified in their views, I simply
asked what they were. Is it offensive to Roman Catholics when
someone simply asks what their views are? I wasn't aware that
was a Roman Catholic doctrine. :-)
