Hello everyone.

This semester, I am taking an introductory COBOL course. My college does
not provide a compiler with the text, but does provide us with MicroFocus
in our labs (and MicroFocus has a personal edition).

However, I do not like doing real work on my Windows boxes. I have a few
choices of compilers for BSD -- TinyCobol and OpenCobol.

I was wondering if anyone has used either TinyCobol or OpenCobol
(particularly for coursework) and if any problems with compatibility or
compilation errors (varying from what *should* be expected) were
encountered.

Thanks in advance.

I think TinyCobol should work for your purpose.
