We see some, certainly, although I'm not sure what you have in mind.
But can't we relate most of the ones that I can think of to the
'clamour of the times' -- the ideas then in fashion in contemporary
society? That people have a tendency to read into the bible what
those who control the media agenda of that society want to be
normative? In other words, the written text is not a 100% guarantee
that people will not follow the mores of their times.
All the same, this sounds like saying that people change their minds,
therefore we can't know what the text says. With respect, this isn't
so (whichever text we have in mind!).
All the best,
Roger Pearse
