Actually, his argument is that everything in this universe must have a
cause - therefore anything without a cause is from outside of the
universe. He also defined "creation" to exclude anything that is not
created by a being - so that he can say that a being is necessary for
creation.

Trouble is, these aren't arguments, they are definitions. We can't
test or show exceptions to his arguments because the definitions are
subject to change to fit his pre-conclusion.
