When posting to comp.lang.cobol please include a rate, or range of rates,
associated with the position(s) offered; doing otherwise leads many to
conclude that you are either trolling for resumes or running a blind ad to
determine rates.

Shucks, it's nothing... does anyone have a calendar on which they can mark
this date?

I thought Rahul was being sarcastic, not complimentary; but I suppose
your last response was a trifle sarcastic too?

Actually, no... but I believe I can see the reason for your conclusion. I
read the original posting, responded with my boilerplate and the next time
I invoked trn I saw a new posting with the advertising-text *and* a rate;
after that I read this 'appreciative' reply and responded as above.
When I search comp.lang.cobol in http://groups.google.com for "support
experience in PL1" (" included) or "Rahul Mohandass" (" included) I
find... nothing, not even these replies. A search for message-id
1185622744.015978.43170@o61g2000hsh.googlegroups.com yields nought, as
well, see
<http://groups.google.com/groups?sel...ooglegroups.com>
Moderately odd... but it wouldn't be the first time Deja.... errrrr,
Google had a bit of indigestion.

Google seems to be more than just passingly dyspeptic. Perhaps a
course of milk of magnesia would be in order?

No wonder it is called 'free association', nobody would find this worth
paying for... but I am reminded of the Olde Classice Joke where the Old
Lady in the Balcony responds to the announcement of the star-of-the-show's
on-stage death with 'Give him an enema!'.
