I do not know whether HMQE2 was offended or not. I believe that she
did not see the gesture but that the image would have been brought to
her attention. Add it to the "Yo! Blair!" and it raises the question
as to what constitutes the much vaunted special relationship and
whether the UK should continue to do business with puerile
democratically elected heads of state when there are some much better
behaved dictators that we can do business with (eg that nice Robert
Mugabe of Zimbabwe).
