I was surprised to see this, Rick. The local equivalent of Radio Shack (Dick
Smith Electronics) here, sells conversion cables to port the old D9 serial
ports to USB. Is it a parallel or serial printer? Some printers can take
firewire or infrared and I have found both of these to be useful. Firewire
is superb.
