I wish it was only that.
MF allows for a few things that RM does not and vice-versa.
Main good points from MF.
Possibility of creating either executables or DLL's/shared objects.
Intrinsic functions.
E-SQL pre-compiler that can convert calls to ODBC instead of specific
DB vendors (OpenESQL.
Better integration with Java.
Integration with .NET

Price.
This is only on the base product.
Both companies have extensions to their products, but I do not know
enough of MF ones to be able to comment.
