Author Debugging indicator/lines - 2002/2008 standards

In the 2002 standard, these are documented as
"will be deleted in the next revision". see. 6.3.4 and G.2.

However, exactly the same text appears verbatim everywhere
regarding debugging indicator/lines in the 2008 standard.

Oversight or deliberate ?

Roger,
Are you looking at the current draft, i.e.

"ISO/IEC 1989:200x WD 1.6 (E)"

The only place I see references to "debugging" in that is in the section
describing what has been removed.
