Today, the Trainer's Friend is announcing our z/OS Training Roadshow
- A new, dynamic, lower-cost way to get instructor-led training for your
experienced z/OS application programmers
The short story:
* Advanced classes using our standard course materials, taught without labs, and
with some topics omitted to save time.
* Roadshows to various cities, offerings in public venues such as hotels and
conference centers.
* Savings from 30%-70% per student per class over our standard per-student
prices for consortium and Remote Contact Training offerings.
* Optional availability of lab setups to install at your location, to run labs
after attending a class.
* Topics available for roadshows: z/OS UNIX, Using the HTTP server to host a web
site, DB2 V8, DB2 Stored Procedures, DB2 Dynamic SQL, Enterprise COBOL updates,
REXX, Dialog Manager, Assembler, Language Environment, Inter-Language
Communication, and DLLs.
We are looking for guidance regarding which cities, which dates, and which
courses you would like to see. You can
also request a road show to come to your site.

=======================
Also, we just scheduled the first four classes in this
program, and two of them are COBOL. From today's ibm-main
post:
OK, we have our first w of roadshow training
scheduled, in Denver (not surprising) w of
Sept. 18, including DB2 V8 Differences, DB2
Stored Procedures, and two COBOL update classes.
Details at:

Next, we are looking at Omaha; possibly w of Sept. 11;
possibly some of the z/OS UNIX courses.
