Well, in this instance the whole bloody opera's written in Hungarian ...
It's only to make it more accessible that they translated it to German (and
almost always dropped the prologue in any language in that version).

As to Polish, my high school chemistry teacher used to comment that his name
was pronounced exactly as it was spelled -- Wojczynski -- and my later
linguistic studies proved him right ...
