Nabucco ...specifically "Va pensiero sul alli dorate" (Fly my thoughts on
wings of gold) does it for me. I heard the most amazing version of this done
in modern style with electric guitars the other day. It choked me up. The
artist was an Italian popsinger named Zucchero, singing it in English (which
I had never heard before). Truly outstanding.

I envy you Aida, Michael. The last time I saw it was in London and it was
superb.
