Author OpenCobol 0.33 binaries

To all who might be interested in,

I've put some OpenCobol binaries on my home website, so it might be useful
for somebody.
http://kiska.net/opencobol/

All of them might not be the best, but they are okay and passed almost all
possible tests.
As soon as 0.33 will be released officially I'll update all platforms.
If somebody interested in binaries for another platform/abi just email me
and I'll check what I can do.

Regards,
Sergey

I saw that. But was it not a response to someone implying that the
OpenCobol project is no longer active?

Anyway, I downloaded the Windows version from Sergey's website and I'm
pretty impressed so far. I had tried in the past to compile the project
myself with some success but even more frustration. Having it already
compiled is very nice, just to get a feel for it. Once I'm more comfortable
with how it functions I'll try building it from source again.

It's interesting to look at the resulting C code. I'm very impressed with
how you handle PERFORM of multiple paragraphs! I couldn't for the life of
me figure out how you would accomplish this, but your solution is quite
elegant and fairly simple.

Honestly, your generated C code is more readible than some people's hand
written C code! :-)

Are you up for some questions on compiler development? I've become fairly
fascinated with this lately, but I don't have any schooling in it or
anything, so a lot of it is gr to me. LL, LR, LALR, blah blah blah...
:-)

Frank
