Envy doesn't necessarily enter into the equation. A village idiot who
inherits too much wealth and power can do an awful lot of damage to the
planet and to the rest of us who share the planet.
Don't take it all away. The goal should be to not take so much that a
wise and useful offspring couldn't prosper, but hopefully take enough so
the dangerously foolish ones will squander away their remaining
resources and loose their influence before they can do irreversible
damage. It's unfortunately looking like the estate taxes on the Bush
family were set way too low.
