It was one specific example that was referred to as 'millions. In fact
the relevant point is the number of generations. In apes, such as
humans, each generation is a dozen to 20 odd years. In bacteria or
viruses each generation is very much less and thus changes over a few
hundred generations can be done in a few years.
It is also observable in the fossil record, as has been pointed out
before.

It is not just your idea of 'creation' that was made up, it all all
such myths, yours being just one of them. What do you feel about Brahma
the creator ?
You also show flawed logic: One myth being made up does not lead to the
conclusion that something else entirely is also made up. How about : If
Superman is made up then Winston Churchill is also made up ?
