Sorry Oliver,

A great effort, but I didn't intend to put you to all the bother. I was
trying to get a handle on 'static'.

Got to do a little more reading on some Java books that I have - both
you, Frank and Pete, possibly Sergey, look for a new thread, when I
write it :-

"Constants, Static, Public, Private"

and Chuck, after his sterling effort on 'Constants' on behalf of J4 -
should he wish to expand on what I write.
