Being British, I admit that Jaguar can be pronounced as Jag-Uar or
Ja-Goo-Ar. The latter is not used in the UK except by American
voice-overs on adverts.

Interesting, in my experience in the U.S. the three syllable Jaguar is almost
exclusively found in advertisements made by people with English accents.
