Microsoft is the _problem_ not the solution. Unix had expiring
passwords and other mechanisms decades ago. MS barely requires
passwords and implements them badly.

They are already built into some laptops and available for other
machines, no need for MS to 'invent' them. But then some seem to think
that MS invented everything from 'the PC' to the internet.
