It's famous, along with Pepe's. Also Patsy's in East Harlem.
Incidently, Sally and Patsy are both men.

New York's Clean Air laws outlawed coal-fired ovens in the '70s. Newly
built yuppie restaurants get around that by exploiting a grandfather
clause in the law, which exempted coal furnaces existing in 1968. They
find an abandoned building, 'rescue' the grandfathered firebox and
install it in their otherwise-new oven. Many upscale Manhattan
restaurants bearing the name Tottono did that. The Tottono at Coney
Island is the only legitimate one.

My favorite pizza has four ingredients: sourdough crust, caramelized
onions, feta and reduced balsamic vinegar (supermarket grade). It's
good served with Warsteiner beer or Red Hook stout and shared with
someone sexy and/or smart. Companionship distracts me from the lack of
a coal-fired oven.
