I wouldn't doubt the very first percentage, or at least close to it.
There was an article in the Religious Section of the Calgary Herald
referring to N. American statistics, possibly the ones that are being
quoted - as it applied to both USA and Canada.
The paper article remarked that although a *large* number (can't recall
figure) of Christians in Canada are not church-goers, nevertheless when
asked they categorized themselves as Christians.
