If that is the basis of your argument, then we can't use logic to
determine anything. If X is Y then we can't prove it isn't Y. Or
course.

And if Genesis is incorrect, you can't prove it correct.
If a cow can jump over the moon, you can't prove that a cow can't jump
over the moon.

But we can start off by assuming something is correct and discovering
that there are things that just don't work as a result of this
assumption.
