I am currently involved in a search for the below position - if you
have the skillsets or possible know someone who does - please contact
me directly!

VB/COBOL Developer for a contract opportunity in Dallas, TX. Software
Developer for maintenance and enhancements of business applications. 9
month contract beginning 10/15/2005 ending 7/31/2006, no hiring
opportunity.
o 5-years application programming experience
o 2-years Microfocus/Merant COBOL
o 2-years Microsoft VB 6.0 programming
o Relational Database (Oracle)
o Microsoft Windows Development platform
o Knowledge of MS-Word
o Good written communication skills
o Ability to work in a team environment

Strong Preference for
o Reporting Services and C#/.Net a plus
o Fluent in Spanish, Russian, German, or Portuguese.

This is a 9 month contract - please include rate info and whether you
work W-2 or are incorporated (we do not do 1099 but will do corp -
corp).

When posting to comp.lang.cobol please include a rate, or range of rates,
associated with the position(s) offered; to do otherwise leads many to
conclude that you are either trolling for resumes or running a blind ad to
determine rates.
