'Shrink-wrap' is the 'old' way of distributing software, very 80s. Of
course most of it is Windows, before that it was DOS, before that CP/M.
Very little Unix or mainframe software was ever 'shrink wrap'. Linux
does not use that distribution method (or not much), there are other
ways of distribution.

OTOH a quick survey shows about a third to be 'PS/2' and does not run
on Windows. ;-)
