The COBOL Bootcamp I'm teaching at SHARE
on Sunday Feb 27 has just been enhanced:

IBM has agreed to make sure each registered
student gets a free trial copy of their
WebSphere Studio Enterprise Developer
product; this will allow editing, compiling,
and debugging on the workstation for both
COBOL and PL/I.

In addition, Micro Focus has volunteered
to give each registered student a free
copy of Mainframe Express Enterprise
Edition, licensed for one year.

These very generous offers mean that
students attending this session will
get a fast, intensive introduction to
COBOL and will be able to go back to
their office and try writing, compiling,
and (with some restrictions) running
COBOL programs, to get practice.

BUT ...

Feb. 2 is the cutoff date for deciding
if the seminar will be offered at all.
If you, or someone at your company, is
up for this, call SHARE immediately and
register. Cost is $350 supplement to the
SHARE conference registration, or $450
for the seminar only.

Kind regards,
