You have seen claimed? well, we (the developers of Hercules) made a
survey once on which host (PC) operating system our users were using,
and Windows made up for about 70%, the rest is Linux. MAC OS/X, and
some others
take a look at http://www.conmicro.cx/hercules
and
http://www.bsp-gmbh.com/turnkey
for an MVS Turnkey system running under Hercules
