....and I'll bet that a lot of the reason for that is Dr. Robert Rannie,
who until the early 1980s was my opposite number at Oak Ridge National
Labs. I've never been to NIU, but knowing Robert I expect that
anyone who gets through the classes he teaches there can be assumed to
understand what's going on inside both the OS and the computer.
