I tried posting to the 1401 thread and get the following

Too many posts from your address.

We have received too many posts from your address. In order to prevent
mass commercial postings to Usenet, we have put limits on the number
of messages an individual can post using Google Groups within a
certain time period. Your post has been forwarded to your email
address instead. Please try again in a few hours.

Even more interesting, Mr Dilworth... a posting from you to the 1401
thread containing reminisces about making 'music' on the printer showed up
on the 1401 thread; lines which might be of interest/amusement are:
