Has anyone used MicroSoft Visual SourceSafe 6 and MicroFocus
NetExpress 3.1 together? If you do how hard is it to work with. Can
you access SourceSafe from a menu dropdown or do you have to use the
command line option? Was it easy to set up? If it does not work what
would you suggest using for source code tracking software?

Can't offer direct help - but if you go to the IDE ----> Tools - you can
add your own software. Can't remember how you do it, so you'll have to
check on-line help. If you have to look for an alternative source
control the *old* Merant did have a product called "Revolve" (I think),
which is marketed by M/F ???. Go to M/F site and sign up for Answer
Exchange and pose your question there.

No direct experience but NetExpress supports the standard MS SCC interface
so VSS should do just fine. Personally, I've used it with Merant's (now
Serena) Version Manager that uses the SCC with no problems.

Merant (now Serena) has Version Manager for source control. MicroFocus
Revolve is used for COBOL program analysis.
