I receive the spam message too. Britney and Christina some to have an
interest in COBOL, or someone expects COBOL-people to be interested in
them... I think both are invalid ;-)

Earthlink doesn't filter newsgroups.

You should direct your complaints to the ISP that inserted the offending
message into the internet. This goes for email spam, too.
