Hi,

I encountered some anomalies when executing NetCOBOL applications in a
Citrix metaframe environment. The Excel control for example does not open
Excel as an active window on the desktop. Any ideas or suggestions ?

Regards, Danny.

Danny:

COBOL sp2/Thin Client as an alternative for Citrix works great with
Active X Controls across a TCP/IP network. We also support Microsoft
Office integration as well.

It's a lot less expensive than Citrix, requires a fraction of the
hardware resources and we have over 8 years of experience in
TCP/IP-based COBOL solutions.

Nice Bob,

But that was´nt what I asked. My client has Citrix already installed for a
variety of apps (not only cobol). So, any suggestions about the Citrix
environment ?

Danny.

Danny:

Actually no. We steer clear of Citrix because of the extensive cost
and overhead issues, so I'm afraid I won't be able to assist you with
the problems you are experiencing with Citrix.
