Please, when replying to Jeff, understand that he is doing his job
by publicizing the gig, he's not the hiring manager, nor does he
have much to say about the rate which strikes me as low but a whole
lot better than being a greeter at Walmart.

I'm saying, If you want the job, drop him your resume. If you have
negative feelings about the cratering of the economy that started
precisely on January 14, 2000, well, we all feel your pain but it's
time to get back to work.

If you are looking for a PL/I, COBOL, or other mainframe job,
Subscribe to
the MainframeJobs listserv by sending email to:

MainframeJobs-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

I manage this list as a free service so please, make use of it. If
you are a hiring manager or interact with jobshops, recruiters,
ask them to send their REQs to the list.

Similarly, job sers are encouraged to subscribe.

This is high volume listserv and most mainframe jobs are in India
but there are several domestic U.S. listings each w. We have
had several good REQs come through in the last 6 months.

Digest or website access is suggested.

The list runs wide open but I do delist flamers and spammers.
