We have tried to install OpenCobol (Cobol compiler for Linux) under
Mandrake Linux MDK 9.1 and have noticed a package dependence problem.
During the installation, it requires gmp.h . When going to rpmsearch,
gmp-4.1.2-1mdk.src (rpm format) can be found. However, when trying to
install this package, it delares a conflict with perl. Has anybody a
recommendation to give ? Thanks !

Nope, but if you can provide a link to a copy, I'd like to fiddle with it.

libgmp3-devel-4.1.2-1mdk RPM for i586

Descripción: Development tools for the GNU MP arbitrary precision library

The static libraries, header files and documentation for using the GNU MP
arbitrary precision library in applications.

If you want to develop applications which will use the GNU MP library,
you'll need to install the gmp-devel package. You'll also need to
install the gmp package.
