| Dear Clipper friends,
We are happy to announce the availability of new BETA builds for:
- xHarbour Builder July 2007 BETA-RC16
- Visual xHarbour BETA2-RC2
- SQLRDD July 2007 BETA-RC16
The xHarbour programming language is a superset of the Clipper
language. xHarbour is practically 100% backward compatible with the
Clipper Language, yet it adds many modern features and tools
comparable to today's leading compilers. Such features include Visual
xHarbour (IDE), SQLRDD, xBuild Project Wizard, ActiveX, OLE, RMDBFCDX
( Comix / Clipmore compatible super fast filters), and many more.
A short description of 'what's new' for these new BETA's builds can be
found here:

All BETA's are available for download from the xHarbour.com download
page at:
http://www.xHarbour.com/xhlogin/log...login_downloads
To install the any of the new BETA releases, please use the *BETA
product* keys. They are just below the BETA download link on the
download page.
** NOTE 1 **
PCode version changed since BETA-RC12. This requires a REBUILD of ALL
your PRG modules, including ALL 3rd party libraries which include
compiled PRG modules.
** NOTE 2 **
As we near the release of the final July 2007 build of xHarbour
Builder, your feedback is CRITICAL. To help you, as a user, keep track
of all known open bug's, and to add new bug reports, we created a new
Bug Reporter web page at xHarbour.com : http://www.xHarbour.com/Support/BugReporter_beta
Please submit any new bug you encounter to the this new Bug Reporter
web site. Any feedback on the new Bug Reported website is also very
welcome! Off course, our BETA newsgroup local.xHarbour.Builder.BETA,
available from our newsserver news://news.xHarbour.com , is also open
for any feedback regarding any BETA.
** NOTE 3 **
Please keep in mind that this is BETA software which most probably
contains bugs. Don't use beta software unless you're clear on what
"beta" means and you're comfortable running beta software. We do not
recommend to use BETA software to build mission critical end user
applications. See also http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beta_software
THANK you for your support and we hope you continue to enjoy using
xHarbour Builder as your primary programming tool.
Help to promote xHarbour Builder by SPREADING THE WORD!
