i had one app with that error, on the old novell network, cabling otherwise
ok.
this app made heavy skip(), s () and goto(), combined with key update and
record adding inside one edit loop between few tables [without set
relations, just connected with bussiness logic]
error was very random, sometimes appear, sometimes not.
after we introduced overnight reindexing, never appeared.
it seems it was connected with some accumulated error/overhead in index
file, so reindex cleaned it for next day work.
just as my experience ...
