does the cliper debugger not show private variables in the "monitor" ?

IIRC it does if you 'tick' the relevant menu item (Clipper 5.2).

Hello Steve,
what do you mean with 'tick'.
If 'selected' the menu item for private variables, but none is displayed.

Yes - that's what I meant with 'tick'

No idea here - maybe a scope problem??
(I've not seen the problem but then again I didn't use privates in my code, but
do recall seeing them when I was debugging someone elses code)

I rememeber this bug on 5.3a, it disppeared on 5.3b, what version and
filesize of cld.lib do you use ?
