This is a new one to me

2 user peer to peer, no ADS, a workstation cannot print to any NET USED
printer from our application, it can from a CMD prompt and from other DOS
apps.

In fact in the entire day the printer worked with our app just the once.

No errors - the jobs go to no where.

Tried using LPT1, LPT2, LPT3, LPT1., LPT2., and LPT3.

Anythings worth tryimg?

Thanks

are you sure that problem is not with your app?
what about printing from app *directly* to lpt, i mean, localy connected
printer, not net used?

anyway, you need to present more relevant facts about your app.
is it clipper app?

Martin

You need to give more info.
Show us the NET USE command you used.
Which OSes involved.
What type of printer.
What it's shared name is.
Is it USB or Parlallel or Serial.
etc...
