XP and BLINKER 6.0

| After complilation by CLIPPER 5.2, I link my program by BLINKER 6.0
Blinker on WINDOWS98 is too fast (2-3 sec), but under Windows XP is too
slow! (10-11 sec)
Why?

| 1. Do you have CPU release stuff (Nanforum, OsLib, etc.)?
2. Does your app support habe mouse support?
3. Is it slow all the time or just during certain operations?
FWIW, Blinker 7 is more tailored towards XP.

| Hi,
Do you have a (new) virusscanner under XP ?
Have you disabled windows "Indexing for faster search" on the drive ?
Have you disabled "Files may be compressed" ?
