Had a good look .DBF are fine but .MDX appear to be DBASE4 indexes, but DBU
with DBFMDX linked in gets errors on the index.

Any ideas anyone?

ACT Files are CodeBase files (Sequiter).

Thanks

So what RDD can I access the indexes with? - DBFs are fine, but unless I can
open an index I do not want to write back

Martin

What happens if you delete the index files and add the new stuff??
Will/Can ACT recreate them.

They might use a function in the index expression that isn't available in your
app
- a hex editor is always a handy tool to have for viewing things that
aren't supposed to be seen<g>
