| HELP!
My boss has made it a priority to find someone who will translate his
clipper program into something usable by MAC OSX. I have no idea where
to go to find someone.
Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Your boss is in luck. xHarbour is practically 100% Clipper compatible, and
is available on Mac OSX. Generally speaking this should take basically a
recompile, and possibly having to correct spelling mistakes of Variable
Names, and Function Names, beyond the first 10 characters.

| Thanks, Ron. I had followed your previous advice and followed up on
xHarbour but I don't know what to do next. Do I just download it on the
boss' MAC and then load his Clipper program, cross my fingers and hope
for the best? I don't want to screw this up, as you can well imagine.

xHarbour is a very mature and stable compiler, "hoping for the best" doesn't
really apply.
Yes, you should download an OS/X build, or wait 1-4 w s for the upcoming
release of xHarbour 1.0 RC-1. Once you downloaded the OS/X distribution, you
may compile/link the application sources, and review any possible issue.
The community on the xHarbour NG seems very willing and capable to help, if
and when you may need assistance.
Good luck,
Ron
