The "other" programmer excuse works too<g>.

It's usually the dumb stuff. The good news it is it generally fixes
easy once you find it. Adding some extra validation code on the
variables before solving the formula helps too. Range checking and
other tests add a bit more code but can spot these types of errors
when you first write the code or later when you change things. It's
just too easy to break something when you add something new.
