Ok - here's the deal, no catches - no sly marketing or gotcha's!

Free to any Clarion developer who owns a Licensed copy of Clarion - any
version.

One free License for PDF-XChange 'PRO' for end users - value $69.50

I have to admit to being a little territorial about Clarion as my 'home'
market - PDF-XChange was the result of encouragement and support from the
Clarion community generally and has subsequently become the jewel in the
crown of our business. We sell it very successfully all around the world to
corporates large and small and the developers kits are the PDF creation
engine for literally 1000's of other software products from 3rd party
developers and publishers.

So, occasionally when someone here asks about PDF as a format and a host of
you guys suggest other products - not PDF-XChange - I get a little put out
<g> - sorry, I know its not very mature - but the old pride suffers a knock.

So - why not download the evaluation version of PDF-XChange PRO from the

I bought mine a few years ago and overall I have got a whole lot out
of it. I use it mostly for my own personal needs as well as for things
I create for our club. It generates very highly compressed PDF's. The
SV version does not and in fact they are exceptionally poor when you
have graphics in a report. How about 9 MB vs 350 MB for the same 50
page report! Your version does a great job and runs 20 times faster.
The tools are quite handy too.

I really don't need embeded support in any of my apps but if I did I
wouldn't hesitate to buy your tools.

Hi Paul,

many thanks for the kind words - always good to hear from a satisfied
customer :)

With regards the Viewer - there will be a free end user version with many
extra features not in Adobe's own free viewer and also it opens a good deal
quicker too - hope you will give that a test drive once released when you
have some time - we are just about to release Beta 4 if you are interested.

No - the clarion evaluation - or indeed - any of our evaluation versions are
freely available anytime as you would expect :-)

This is a copy of the fully licensed working - 'End User' version of
PDF-XChange PRO (cost $69.50) - more info etc available here :

You do need to email me with your full and valid email address and confirm
you are a fully licensed user of Clarion for Windows/CPD (any version) -
