| Hello all. Not even a lurker I'm afraid. Run a small business fixing
many different computer problems. Small community where I live
with no clarion developers. There was one a while back (~5 yrs) who
sold my customers a pos system. They need to change one field in their
invoices and there is not enough room to type it all in. So, simple
problem but not my strength (CCNA does't help here and don't have the
time to convert it to mysql :) ) So email me if you'd like some
$ and have the time for a really simple problem. I don't have time to
deal with overed errors, etc.
Thanks for your time

| Hi Gary,
How did you end up with you Clients invoice field, did you get someone
to fix it for you?
If not can I ask a couple of questions?
1. Do you have the source code for this app? (need a .app and a .dct)
2. Is it a windows program or DOS?
We are here to help if still required.

| It is an old app. Apparently clarion dos 2.107 version. Working with
one guy now but need to find out the owner id? There is just an exe no
apps or dct files.
Is old but has been working for my customer. They may need to be
coaxed into a new database system.
Thanks
Gary

| Yeah Gary,
I think a push to a new system may be the answer, if you have no source
(app and/or dct), it makes it hard to update. I do have Clarion for
DOS 2.1 here but will be no use without the source.
I wish you luck!
Cheers,
Justin
